Come! lets break the clocks...

Spring give way to winter
Sun give way to moon
change is constant
and so our moods.

Does an early bird song
bring about the morn?
the days does not wait
for us to catch the song.

What should we do
wait for the right time?
or can we step forward
and try to make some time?

Stop for a minute
turn around
Can you see me at the distance
walking around?

All these days I had been with you
but now not sure if I can follow you
what happened to our days full of life?
why are you putting me as a thing behind?

Lets pick at the prickles of thorns
the blood sprinting out of the flesh torn,
happy to see the wound cleansed with blood
now can we forget the pricks and blood?

Let's live the way we used to...
let's love the way we used to...
Let's fight the way we used to...
Let's make up the way we used to...

Take me to the movie
two hours of fun
let me look at you
without any disturbance.

Lead me along
show me a song
give me the wings
let's fly along

Over the peaks
down the valleys
across the sky
whooping with delight

Let's soar high
with spirits to drive
let's throw the clocks
let's forget the time
let's live for the moment
let's live beyond time.
How can we let a little clock
to run and rule our time?

Take away my pain
and the fear within
in the darkness of night
be my beacon of light.

  1. Ah, so touching and wonderfully expressed! Viji, this is one of your fine works.

"Lets pick at the prickles of thorns
the blood sprinting out of the flesh torn,
happy to see the wound cleansed with blood
now can we forget the pricks and blood?"

Loved the above lines very much. And, of course, these lines too -

    "Take away my pain
    and the fear within
    in the darkness of night
    be my beacon of light."

I thoroughly felt this poem. Keep them coming!!!
